***Amazing*** Origami
This week's anniversary edition of the New Yorker profiled Robert Lang, a physicist-turned-origami artist. He is one of the innovator of modern origami, and his online gallery and store offers amazing images, many accompanied by folding diagrams.

I still have a hard time believing these figures were created with single, uncut pieces of paper.

that i couldn't do if my life depended on it.

i am floored that anyone could take a single sheet of paper and do all of that...

8. I spent 4 hours folding one of his spiders
Didn't turn out anywhere near as good looking as his.
I also made the dragon that is on his site.

11. WOW ... I have several of his books (all Dover cheap editions) but ...
line drawings don't do justice to what the finished product can look like. Many thanks for the link to his page!
