Do West Coasters have a need for turtlenecks?
Seriously, I'm from MA, it's cold as a mofo here, and I don't wear one...So what's the deal? Do y'all wear them? And if so, what are you hiding? Goiters? Hickeys?

:D

1. hell no unless i'm at Tahoe skiing, i hate turtlenecks, i feel like i'm being
strangled. I also don't wear snorkel coats either for those of you old enough to remember them.

3. I wear turtlenecks all the time.
I live in Minnesota where it's cold, and I wear them to keep warm since I look like a turtle anyway.

I gotta long neck.

I prefer mock turtlenecks, though.

5. Well ....
As Twain said "The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco" - YES - we do wear turtlenecks here. And proudly.

6. I live in Minnesota and wear a turtleneck every day...
from about mid-November until mid-April. I've always liked them and wore them when I lived in northern California during the winter.

They're warm, my upper chest and neck is my chilliest area and I don't feel strangled by them.

My challenge is dressing during hot weather, since I don't like skimpy clothes.

9. Washington stater -no
I'm not a skier but I remember shopping earlier this winter and realizing that I didn't see any turtlenecks in the store. I thought they had gone out of fashion. People here, especially women, are wearing scarves as a fashion statement.

10. Yes, we need them, and I wear them!
They are comfortable as heck, and look good.......

And NO, I'm not hiding anything!

You must be hot-blooded to not need one in that weather!
