Is this something you could see framed and on your wall?
I've been a fractal artist for almost ten years, and in my time I've managed to develop more than one distinct style. But I'd never had anything printed in any large size, until recently.

I do computer maintenance for a local sign shop, and the owner recently purchased a beautiful $32,000 high resolution printer. This was my chance- I rendered the displayed fractal work at a size and resolution sufficient to look good printed poster-sized, and had him actually print a couple copies.

Those who have seen it have basically drooled over it, and it's revived my old idea of producing a line of fractal art and framing and selling them.

What do you think of the work, and the concept? (This work is one of literally hundreds I could work from.) This is a serious query, as I've envisioned it as a possibile way to expand my company and my income a wee bit.

Chaos From Reason

2. Oh sweet!
But then, I'm a total geek at heart and love fractals. Until recently I had a cool fractal graphic on my desktop.

Very cool. It feels...beckoning, kwim?

6. I've been a computer graphics hobbyist for many years
I developed my eye for form and color during my 17 year stint as a landscaper, and it carried over into my computer art. With you, it seems just to be a natural thing. Practice your framing a bit and your close-up work will be even better!

10. Fractal art is like a Rorschache test
Everyone sees something different in it.

Here's something in a little more of an "artistic" style

21. Here are some of the best
I've put them up as thumb scale to spare my fellow dial up jocks a long delay.
They are mine only in the sense that they reside in my computer, I didn't create them.
The originals are for the most part full desktop scale.

Right now the Sun God is up on my desktop.

19. I love fractal art.
I used to print fractals and then cut the paper to make wrappers for chocolate bars. They were a big hit with the techno geeks.

Fractal art is the tie-dye of our generation. :)

20. I love the very concept of the fractal
It's the razor-thin line between form and formlessness. Stay balanced on top of it and you're okay. One misstep, however, and you topple into a place we're not meant to be. Thus the term chaos theory.

And I still have and wear a tie-dyed tee shirt AND sweatshirt....
