4. Stay away from Kansas.
Geographically the only part of the state I liked was near Kansas City(some hills).

I was stationed in Wichita for 3 years, and the best thing I can say about Wichita is that it's half-way between Kansas City and Oklahoma City...which isn't saying much!

Anywhere that the people view bob dole as god scares the jeebus out of me :scared:

Let's not forget their preference of creationism over evolution.

The next book on my "to read" list is "What's the matter with Kansas" by Thomas Frank.
