Americans seem to use the word differently to how we use it. Over here, cute means appealing but in a very specific way. A fluffy bunny rabbit or a kitten is cute. Japanese anime characters are often cute. But a girl would probably not like to be called cute. It is not synonymous with beautiful, because you can be beautiful without being cute.

As for getting any action, I am the wrong person to ask. I haven't figured that one out yet. :shrug:

Cute isn't synonymous with beautiful, but it's not an insult, either ... at least, I don't think so. I get called cute a lot -- maybe because I'm not very big. I mean, I've never heard a tall woman be called cute.

I have other stuff in the drawer that I can put on to turn up the heat. And I assure you that I do NOT look cute in those things. :blush: :hide:
