I've been using "the Google" unsuccessfully to try to find someplace that my brother, who has ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease), could ski with the assistance of another person. I'm pretty sure I've read about this kind of skiing before, but all I'm finding is information about sit-skis and other devices that still require the skier to have a fair amount of strength.
My brother LOVES to ski and had to give it up very reluctantly as he realized that he did not have the strength to deal with possible wipeouts, etc. Since he gave it up his physical abilities have lessened, but he recently wrote a poignant email to us sibs about giving it up. It was a tough decision for a guy who loves the risk, the cold air, the speed.
Anyway, as I've mentioned, I think I've read about people skiing in pairs. Anyone know anything about this? Thanks for any help.
