Posting from my G5 iMac!

Hell, If I could only find the disc where I can install the x11 stuff so I could install Open office, I wouldn't need my PC!

Every time I look at my shiny white iMac, I recall the time in the early '90s when I said that a computer should be all-in-one--hard drive, monitor, everything--and how many people laughed at me for that...

and I'm never, ever, going back to a Windows PC as my primary machine. The 2.3Ghz dual-core is more powerful than any Windows PC that I had prior to it's purchase, and still performs very well. I know that when I'm ready to replace it, there will be a faster Mac just waiting for me.

36. Scrambling to keep an old iBook alive...
It's one of the old clamshells -- can't go past OS-9 (*mutter*) and, last summer it ate(!) my "Word for Mac" but it's what I've got and (until I can use its built-in Photoshop 6 to build my graphics hobby into a business) all I can afford, so...
AppleWorks is, at least, serviceable as a Word Processor...

dual G4 downstairs in the basement

G3 in the garage, awaiting rehab. Another PB G4 awaiting a new power cord (how can such a well-designed thing have the worst conceivable design for power supply/cord?)

Other than some music gear, these are the last things of value I have left . . . :sigh:

59. Right here and loving it
I'm on an iBook G4, with a dualie desktop a few feet away. Never used anything but a Mac at home. I wear gloves and try not to be too sarcastic when I'm forced to deal with lowly PCs occasionally at work.

Never a problem or concern with my Macs. I could spend all week trying to produce a crash of OS X and never succeed. Predictably, the only application that occasionally quits and has to restart is an inferior Microsoft product, Excel.
