I think I'll be ok here.

The floors have a wicked slant, which ought to be fun after a few tequilas. I'm waiting for my nephew to come and level my entertainment center before I unpack anything for my living room.

I still have pictures to put up, and curtains, but my kitchen is pretty much all set, and my bed us all set (new box spring and mattress even).

I did a grocery shop last night. It's strange shopping for one. I'm afraid I'll over-buy and end up throwing food out--especially fruits and veggies.


The cats took a day to settle in. I think Cosmo misses Tim something awful, but they seem to be getting settled too.

So... home sweet home I guess.

3. I'm actually feeling ok

I know I did the right thing, and maybe at some point the novelty of living alone will wear off, but for now, I'm kind of enjoying it.

it takes time. Lots of time. You'll find your routine.

I know how you feel. Lelapin only comes home once or twice a quarter and then, it's only for one night. The rest of the time, I'm on my own.
