When I think "Beastie Boys" I think . . .
about that cool ass graphic from the back of "hello nasty" that showed the cutaway of the b-boy space station complete with studio (w/turntables), basketball court, and lounge.

i wish i could find a digitized copy of this.

1. Our best family friend, who is, quite possibly, the biggest Beastie
Boy fan there ever was. I love him, even if he did marry beneath him. :hi:

9. it's funny
i despised the beastie boys when they first came out, but i came to like them after they more or less disposed the "licensed to ill" schtick.

4. . . . that I bought their first album as a gift for my little brother.
I like the Beastie Boys, and my little brother (now 36) got an early appreciation for rap.

11. Pollywog Stew (the punk album) or Licensed to Ill?
Licensed to Ill was the first tape my sister ever paid for. When I was seven I used to rock out to Paul Revere while I would listen to her tape. I imagine it pegged the cute meter at 100.

I'll bet you did max out the cute meter when you were rocking out to Paul Revere. :)

10. About Paul's Boutique
Which is one of my favorite CD's ever.
Ridiculously under rated in my opinion.

And probably also one of my fav CDs.

One of those C.Ds in which once it ended.. I started it up and listened to it for a second time immediately . . . just that damn good.
