This is my post where I say everyone who watches the Oscars is stupid

Most of the time things I am interested in (Super Bowl, baseball, Buffy the Vampire Slayer etc.) are discussed there are always folks who say that I am stupid because I like these forms of entertainment.

Today is my day to say the Oscars and those who watch them are stupid. You see, I am not interested in them and ipso facto those who are interested are stupid, unfeeling, bad for the environment and probably are infected with a loathsome disease. You are falling for a distraction, have been mislead by the MSM or *ushco.

One thing I've learned about DU is that no matter what one DUer is interested in, there are always others who share their interest, and others who sneer at it. Nature of the beast I guess. :shrug:

23. I'm bored, and the Oscars are the reason. I can't play video games cuz my gf is watching that crap.

But I hate almost everything that people love: I hate superbowl, I hate LOST, I hate baseball, I hate basketball, I hate the olympics, I hate Harry Potter, and I hate the grammies. And really, I'm not even that miserable a person in real life, nor do I try to hate stuff just because its popular. But the Oscars...gah, I so don't care.
