a pound of ground beef, diced potatoes and green beans covered with cream of mushroom soup and cooked on the stovetop. it's damn tasty and will feed me for a few days, plus it cost me less than six bucks to buy all the ingredients.

14. Here's another one.
rice, chopped up weiners, green beans and ketchup and/or canned tomatoes. -- a little ketchup goes a long way. Sounds disgusting but it's tasty -- although weiners aren't as inexpensive as they used to be.

Also, ramen noodles, when the noodles are done turn off the heat and crack in one egg and a handful of frozen peas. Ignore for at least 5 minutes. The eggwhite will cook, the yolk will mix in with the noodles giving them a really rich creamy taste and the peas give a great texture. Yummier than it sounds.

41. My mom used to make a hamburger and mushroom soup thing.
I'd forgotten about that. She's serve it over toast. It was one of my favorite dinners growing up. :9

I'll have to try it again... but maybe this time I'll add some green beans. :)

7. I'm goin' fancy in honor of Oscar night
and old-timey, now that I think about it. It's a classic homage to Old Hollywood. Or something:

Steak

Garlic mashed potatoes

Carrot coins

Dinner roll

The last of my wine, then beer

Raspberries and yogurt for dessert, if I have room

26. Well yes, but I don't know that I'd subject others
to my cooking just yet. I'm just moving from the "all I know how to do is make butter spaghetti" to actual cooking of real food, (no offense, butter spaghetti, but it's time to move on), so we'll see how this experiment goes. :D

44. Pollo al carbon y frijoles ranchera, steamed corn tortillas
chicken marinated in this heavenly concoction of tomatillos, green chili, onion, garlic, cumin, oregano, a tiny touch of cinnamon, and citrus juice (supposed to be orange and lime but I used all my limes for the mardi gras dinner (who knew you needed so many?) so I used grapefruit juice. At least it was fresh.

can't wait, the fire is getting started right now!

The beans are Anasazi beans with a touch of bacon, oregano, cumin, onion garlic then more onion, garlic, and some jalepenos and serranos, plus some fresh tomato all sauteed and simmered for the last 1/2 hour of been cooking. YUM I'm hungry.
