1. Yes it is.
I've develoved into just making bacon sammies with mayo anytime we make bacon for breakfast. It's yumm-ooh when you're a little drunk, as well.

I really have nothing to add. I like mine on toasted French rolls, with a side of asparagus with a little peanut sauce.

It's like asking which one is the most favorite child.

(OK, there might be one. But any discussion will only lead to broken hearts and hurt feelings.)

sandwich sets.

Such as: A BLT is the perfect cold sandwich; the Philly Cheese Steak is the perfect hot sandwich. However, on the "Perfection Scale", the BLT is a 10 while its competitors don't get above a 5. On the comparable scale, the Philly Cheese Steak is a 7 while its competitors come in at 6.

Therefore, the BLT is the most perfect sandwich.

Edit: I've been drinking and I don't care if this is a tangent:) I believe I misread.

9. You are correct. I might add...the mayo used...
SHOULD be Dukes.

Miracle Whip is an abomination akin to new formula Coke and non-alcoholic beer.

It should be banned.

are tofu based mayo and Heinz SaladCreme - they are the condiments of the INFIDEL!

Non alcoholic beer is an abomination.

50. Only if the "T" part is a REAL tomato - those things they call tomatoes
in the supermarket are disgusting - taste like pink styrofoam and have NO resemblance to the real thing. Gotta grow 'em yourself, or perhaps find some at a *real* farmer's market (not one of those things that they call "farmer's markets" where some of the produce is not locally grown but comes from the same wholesalers that the supermarkets get their out-of-state crap from).

I love to order it in a diner with chips on the side and a big dill pickle. My bacon must be crisp, though, and not too much mayo. I usually have the waitress bring me that on the side and I apply it myself.

55. ONLY if the tomatoes are in season, homegrown.
If they're supermarket tomatoes you might as well be eating a tennis ball. And you don't specify the kind of toast, so I'll do it for you--Pepperidge Farm sandwich white (none of this whole wheat shit, thank you very much), lightly toasted (on setting 3 or lower). The sandwich must be sliced diagonally, or it is not perfect. That said, I'd rather have the corned beef at Junior's Deli in L.A., or maybe an onion bagel with lox.

Although the Italian Beef Sandwich, Chicago Style, is an honored alternative whilst tomatoes are out of season. As a child, my Dad would obtain these from the Tivoli Tap in Miller, Indiana. This was the first food that I remember as decadent....I was 5.

BTW, I remember hearing about a British study of what turned Vegetarians into Meat Eaters, Bacon came in first......
