Spring training baseball Friday noon on ESPN
The first one of the year, I don't know who's playing, but who cares, it's baseball. Can warm weather be far behind?

3. That's what I might wind up doing...
usually I get the Extra Innings package, but my understanding is that it's gonna be exclusive to Direct TV this year, and I have cable, not satellite.

It's just not gonna be the same.

4. I'm thinking about that
I may be blacked out of my market though, i'm still trying to find the answer to that before I do.

5. Yeah, your local team will be blacked out
and you'll have to catch them on the tube. But this new package they're offering is incredible, and you can watch the replay of your team's game later on. They televise every game, unlike the package I had last year with Dish that didn't always televise every game. The computer package simply has more choices.

9. It's a viable option, I think.
And WGN airs a lot of games, anyway. And for the games they don't air, Cubs aren't a local team for me, so blackouts shouldn't be a problem.

6. I dont know about everyone else, but I like going to my local Single A
minor league ball club games better than the majors.
The admission is 5$- 7$ or free a lot of the time, food and beer is cheap (Thirsty- Thursday's 2 for 1), and the atmosphere is genuine.

7. Yeah, isn't it great
I like to go to Frisco and watch the Rangers' Double A club. So laid back, and less expensive.

Baseball is just so relaxing. As I get older, I appreciate it more and more.
