My last test came back positive for multiple myeloma. I'm having a bone marrow biopsy next week to see what stage it is. This sucks. Hard.

My bro-in-law met a whole waiting room full of people there who had had the treatment and survived for the last nine years and were still going strong. My f-i-l has survived his bladder cancer for 7 years now, whipping it into remission five times. His daughter, my sis-in-law, last year was diagnosed with lymphoma. She's also kicked its ass right out of her body. Remission; no trace at the molecular level.
