Anybody know how to "mat" a cat?

Should the cat be sedated? How long will it keep?

1. I've always just encased mine in polyurethane.

They make a nice and decorative translucent brick.

Of course, you have to hold the bastards down until the urethane sets so they don't jump out.

I've never thought of framing a cat, though - intriguing idea! I could see where mounting a feral cat, that I had hunted, would make for a wonderful decorative framed art. If, that is, the bastards would let us hunt the little bastards. x(
