What is Sexy

What do DUers consider sexy in the opposite sex? Is it the person's hair, their frame, their looks, or their personality? Is sexy something that you feel is a "I know it when I see it" , but cannot describe it?

I asked this question in that I have seen lists of what are considered to be sexy people. At times I have disagreed. At other times I have agreed or have been a little unsure. So I decided to ask other what they think is sexy.

For me I think a guy is sexy when he has nice muscles and a nice six pack. I also like him to be good looking. I do not look at personality as being sexy, but I would not date a good looking guy that I thought was a jerk. So, what about others say?

I mean, I can get behind someone and totally support them, but it's not always easy for me to just lie there and take it when someone wants to mistreat me; it makes me fit to be tied. I tend to like a subtle strength of character, but am pretty open minded to other things as well. But I don't have a lot of patience for those thick-headed people who can't take the time to get to know themselves.

I truly made a mistake in the last line. I meant to say I would not date a person who is a jerk. I just do not see a person's personality as sexy. I think a person with a good personality is better than a person with a bad peronsality. I saw your line about never dating a jerk and thought for sure I had wrote that I would not date a jerk. I went back to make sure I then realized I had missed the not. I truly would not date a person who is a jerk. They have to be nice in personality, I just do not think it makes them sexy.

I'm attracted to a man's forearms and hands (although, I'll admit to looking at a butt here 'n there). I like a man's forearms and hands, to be protecting, cuddling, and snuggling, muscular, but without being too muscular or threatening. I'm not into 6-packs...they'll go away over the years, along with your flat abdomen and perky boobs (not trying to insult the OP, just sayin'). I met my husband when he was 43 and great looking and in great physical shape (he was a runner and a sailor). Now he's 60. He's still very cute. He's now into biking, both road-biking and mountain biking. Over all those years...it's been those forearms and hands, and how he can hold me (I was 29 when we met, now I'm 46).

And the sexiest time during our relationship was right after we married (a first for both of us). I really got off on the sight of a wedding ring on his hand!

I have to admit, I don't generally use the word sexy about people I only know from pictures. I use words like handsome, pretty, lovely to describe physical beauty. Sexy's a verb to me - it's active.
