What am I doing wrong with this photo?
Hi,

I tried to post a photo last night and was successful, but.... It was freaking huge! Here is what it looked like. What am I doing wrong? Why is it so big.

BTW, Sam is huge -- over 25#. But that's another story...

Thanks!

1. With your editing software, you have to resize it
Or, shrink it, catshrink

10. I'll give that a try....
yeah, he is a fat assed cat. He loves to sleep on my head. What do you do when a 25# cat decides he wants your pillow at 2am? The first time my vet saw him her eyes got huge and she said "That's a big cat."

Duh.

9. Scared my cat
My Honey was sitting on my lap while your big pic was loading; as it was nearing completion, he jumped off my lap in a panic. :hi:

12. Scared my Little Ricky, too!
He was on my lap when I looked at this again. He knows Sam and he jumped up and fled when he saw him. He isn't the smartest critter. Of course, Ricky's real name is Ricky Retardo. (Get it? I have a Lucy and a Ricky.)

11. This is the best one!
The original one is the best photo to demonstrate the sheer magnitude of the 25-lb cat!

13. Your name is very apt for this post
If that's from a digital camera, you should break out the manual and learn how to adjust the resolution to a smaller size.

If you're scanning actual photos, go into your scan setup, make sure dpi (or ppi) is set to 72, then adjust the percentage down.

For some reason, I think of meatloaf everytime I see this picture. kidding! Fat cats are happy cats :)

14. Your cat and mine must be related!
I have a cat named Walter that could be your kitty's twin. Only Walter is a little smaller than your cat....but not by much.

Is your kitty a snuggle bunny? Walter is very sweet but also very protective. He is like a guard dog. He growls at strangers!

Also very neurotic about his food bowl. He gets very upset if it is empty.

Thanks for the picture. Give your kitty a hug...if he'll allow it!
