A Day in the Life of.... YOU!
Any day.. your favorite one, when everything went your way.. or your worst when everything you touched turned to shit.. or just an ordinary day

I'll start....Today (my memory is at least fresh on it, even though it was a bore of a day)..

Woke up at arounf 7..went back to sleeop and snoozed off an on until about 11.

Did two loads of laundry

Checked in at DU to be stunned at the "views" number on my GD thread (near 8k at that time) :wow:

washed dishes, did more laundry

and then napped for a while

Watched a bit of Tucker and Wolfie

Made pancakes for dinner

My husband and I went out after dinner to buy cat litter, a pedometer and that brings us to now..

Not a very exciting day, huh ?

Hope yours was spiffier :)

3. june 19, 2002
i spent a day in brussels as part of a summer class i was taking. we all got up early and got on the bus (i got to sit next to the guy i had a crush on) from amsterdam. we spent the morning at the european commission, i don't really remember what we talked about, i just remember we had fun playing with the microphones.

we had the afternoon to spend in the city, so i set out with my crush (he was finnish), a girl from south korea and a girl from taiwan. we walked around, visiting a number of old cathedrals and i marveled at the architecture. the flowers were in full bloom and it was beautiful.

we also visited this fountain. (everyone i know got a copy of this picture)

we ate chocolate and ate lunch at a little bistro, celebrating south korea's world cup victory.

most of us slept on the ride home but had enough energy for a few beers at the cafe under the hotel and a trip to the coffee shop.

that was a great day

4. Today
I got up at 7:00. After reading the paper I decided it was nuts to be up so early.

I went back to bed.

I got up at 1:00, showered and went out.

Stopped at Sonic for a burger.

Picked up some prescriptions & a magazine at Walgreens.

Went to Lowe's for bags of potting soil.

Shipped a package to my boy.

Got home & checked the mail.

Went to bed to read the magazine I bought.

Came online to check email & another forum I post at.

Finished up some mending I started yesterday.

Baked a cake for tomorrow.

Went back to bed for a nap.

Came to DU and posted a few times.

Made a BLT and a salad for dinner.

Now I'm back here.

Yes, I spent most of my day in bed. No, I don't feel lazy. Yes, I'll probably do it again tomorrow.

8. I must be.
I love a good sleep.

You know those who say invest in your bedroom because you spend 1/3 of your life there? I say they are shooting low! I plan to spend 1/2 my life there. :)

5. Mine is so boring you would have tears in your eyes...
Get up at 3:00pm

Take meds then check my e-mail and surf DU for about a couple of hours.

Then I will go out and about and do my errands. Maybe eat out.

Maybe I will go to my mom's on that day.

Come home around 11:00pm (If I have gone to my mom.)

Do the dishes and then some more DU surfing.

Go to bed at 2:30am

7. today
Edited on Mon Mar-12-07 11:53 PM by GTRMAN
Up at 5:30 am. Get showered, feed the dogs, get dressed, hop in the car.

Drive 96 miles to work, clock in, check email and find out all hell has broken loose in my absence since I dared to take 3 days off last week.

Spend all day cleaning up said mess and getting my other work done to boot.

Clock out, surf the net, watch TV, I'm staying in the city tonight.

Get up and do it all again tomorrow, except the 96 mile trip is at the end of the day.

9. my day
overslept-got up at 6:30am
took a quick shower
my little sister got here at 6:45 for our trip to Birmingham.
Fed the older dog and cats.
Stopped at Hardees for a biscuit and tea.
Sister had a doc appointment. She does not have glaucoma. Her vision is 10/400 and she was probably born with severely curved optic nerves.
Came back to town and stood in line to get my car tag.
Got home around 10:45 and climbed in bed with my sweetheart.
I slept until 4:00pm
Took my meds and ate some cold pizza.
My SO came home so we sat together for a little while.
I printed off my take home mid-term and checked other emails.
Fixed dinner
Did four loads of laundry
watched CSI:Miami and Star Trek Enterprise.
Made a pitcher of tea
Now I am sitting in my chair watching bad tv and looking around on the Internet.
Soon I will feed the younger dogs, take my meds, and make my way to bed.

10. Here is my yesterday
Woke up around 9:30 (PDT). Made pancakes and eggs for breakfast. Got myself and my daughter dressed. Loaded up the car and we all headed for the children's store so we could get my daughter a swimsuit.

Then we headed to Huntington City Beach. KWkid made sand castles, we all stuck our toes in the cold water, KWSpouse took pictures of KWkid and I. Then we headed home, where dinner was ready (my husband made potroast in the slow cooker).

Plunked KWkid in the bathtub, then into jammies and bed.

:boring:
