2. "His name is Robert Paulson."
That movie rocks. I might have to watch it tonight for the 517th time since you said that.

8. Actually it's "Paulsen"...
Edited on Wed Mar-21-07 09:31 PM by MrsGrumpy
:hi: Which happens to be my maiden name. And I will say this because there's quite a few of them out there, my brother's name is Robert. Somebody in the film business told me that anyway.

13. Okaaaaay?
That only leaves one thing to say: "Now, a question of etiquette - as I pass, do I give you the ass or the crotch?"

3. Yeah, it was, but someone will say the book was better, and someone else will say
they saw the same thing done in Japanese anime only a thousand times better, and someone will say Brad Pitt and Edward Norton or over-rated talentless fucks (to which someone will mention Pitt's role in "Snatch"), and so on. Just getting that all out of the way.

Great freakin' film.

21. I'm taking that one word at a time
jam-packed with meaning as usual :hi: :loveya:

I really, really disliked that movie. Gawd. It must touch an archetype for the passion it inspires...I've heard it analyzed as being a male's battle with his own homosexuality or bisexuality and in the end when he chooses the female all the phallics buildings fall down symbolically after he kills the male stud and thusly his desire for him (i.e. his homosexuality). Somehow I don't think that interpretation is one that is widely embraced, although it is the one that makes the most sense to me.

14. Saw it in theatres back in 1999!
Definitely one of my favorites. The surprise plot twist was as good as the one in the Sixth Sense! I never saw it coming! (I won't say what it is because I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't seen it)

But I've watched it so many times that I don't think it matters, haha.

23. Seen it about 50 times
Made Ed Norton one of my favorite actors, and realized for the first time that Pitt could act.

The girl (Bonham-Carter???) was superior

Read the book too.
Different, but just as good.
