Listening to Led Zepplin and Just Relaxin'
Edited on Fri Mar-30-07 08:55 PM by benny05
Number III as a matter of fact.

Which is your fav LZ LP/CD/DVD?

After posting Elizabeth Edwards' message here to thank the DU, I'm in the mood to have some rock and roll, and blues.

But I'm in the mood to be here.

Edit: I perceive EE would say it's good I'm relaxing with peeps.

1. I like LZ-II for some reason

Question that's always bugged the shit out of me: When in Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Damone tells Ratner to play side 1 of LZ-IV to impress the girl, how come Rat and the girl are listening to Kashmir from Physical Graffiti when they go out for their date?

2. I like LZ I & Presence, myself
I love every song off the first; "Communication Breakdown", "Dazed and Confused", "Good Times Bad Times", "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You", all great.

And from Presence, "Nobody's Fault but Mine" is the best Zep song that the classic rock stations haven't burnt to a crisp. The rest of the album ain't too shabby, either.

Of course, any Zep, even if it's overplayed, is better than most of the new music being released today.

3. I love LZ 4 and Physical Graffiti. "Black Dog" was the first LZ song I ever
remember hearing/connecting to them, and became an instant fanatic.

Saw them twice in 1977, on my 18th birthday and again the next night. :-)

5. Physical Graffiti
Based on the fact Kashmir, Trampled Under Foot, Ten Years Gone, and The Wanton Song (one of my favorite Zep songs) are all on this album. But I love them all.

6. I'll go along with Physical Graffiti as my favorite Zep CD. I like every song.
The rest (in order): Presence, Led Zep IV, Houses of the Holy, LZ I, II, and III. They should have stopped after Presence , IMO.

8. In through the out door
In the Evening is my all time favorite zep tune. The "classics" are so overplayed on the radio around here I'm totally sick of them.
