Go Eagles! Go McNabb! F@#$ Rush!!!!
All of McNabb's critics are now in hiding or in rehab. To paraphrase Jimmy Johnson.

1. I just posted on this in the Lounge,
but what is it like to be the vulgar pigboy and be wrong about EVERYTHING, all of the time? I bet it hurts so much that you would want to self medicate. And there you have the life of rush, in 50 words or less.

8. Me, too, meegbear
Philly and Boston -- Eagles and Patriots. I love it.

Green and white Vs. red white and blue

It would be a great matchup, and great rivalry. I think the whole country would tune it for it.

3. Also,
we are done with that obnoxious "Packers are the heaven-blessed team of destiny, whose incredibly brave quarterback dealt with his loss, wiped away his tears and led his team to victory, blah, blah, blah" horseshit.

10. Yes, That Was Irritating Me Too
Although it made for a good drinking game. Do a shot anytime someone mentions Favre's dead father.

14. Are you even old enough to drink?
Its obvious youre not mature. A drinking game that involves a dead mans father. Son going thru life drunk, classless and stupid will get you nowhere.

And if they didn't mention it every five seconds, I couldn't very well get drunk, now could I?

13. Man, I too hate that damned quote.
If they were the team of destiny, they would have won yesterday, wouldn't they have?

100% horseshit that damned quote is.

4. And I think Rush called the Pats a 'Communist' Team the other day
I hope both teams make the Superbowl so he can eat crow!

6. I believe it was two years ago
during their Super Bowl year because they came out as a team, instead of being announced individually. Only communists would not want to be introduced individually. He must also hate college teams that don't have the players' names plastered on the back of their uniforms.

5. McNabb Made THE Play That Won That Game!
The play from about the 20 yard line where he went up into the pocket, ducked one guy, got away from another who had his arms on him, broke another tackle and then threw a rope to a receiver in the front corner of the endzone is the reason why that game went to OT.

McNabb doesn't make that play, and the Eagles season is over!

So, what was that Rush said about the defense carrying that team and that McNabb wasn't the leader of the team?

Also, did anybody see the bit on the pregame show where a Limbaugh impersonator got his brains beaten in by a McNabb impersonator. Funny stuff! Also relevant, when they came back to the studio from the prerecorded bit, all 4 guys were laughing hard. Apparently they think little of the gasbag as well.

19. As good as that play was, 4th & 26 was play of the game
If McNabb doesn't get the first down, season over.

I'm having to put off my "Welcome Back, Joe Gibbs!" parties until McNabb completes the utter humiliation of PigBoy

22. Good Call, However. . .
. . .he didn't make that play by himself. The play i was talking about occurred after the protection had broken down, downfield was a fire drill (although i'll credit the receiver with finding an open spot), and he ran around for 5 seconds giving the rec'rs time to get open.

If he doesn't make that play, practically singlehandedly, the 4th and 26 play doesn't even matter. They would have been down too many points for that last drive to make a difference.

7. Rush at the Eagle game
I heard the lame commentators yesterday give a nod to Rush, isn't that an old drug term, for his presence. He must have gotten some free tickets.

In the camera shot (and who could miss Rush, really?) then I didn't see him... I saw a fan with a Rush mask... Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

For over 40 years I have hated the Eagles like I hate Republicans and broccoli; and now I have to root for them because of fucking pigboy. Like I needed another reason to despise that fat bastard!

15. McNabb played out of his skull
he almost single-handedly won the game for his team. I'm glad for him and the Eagles, it was a great game. Rush was way off base from the get-go.

If the Packers can't be in, then let the Eagles do some damage to Rush!

Hell, that's almost as good as a Packer win!

Incredible game on both sides of the ball. Too bad somebody had to lose. It is wonderful to see Rush eat crow, however.

23. Go Eagles!!
Congrats to the Packers for a great game, and I know how Packers fans are feeling. It is definitely not a fun feeling. Too bad that there can only be one winner in a game like that. I have a feeling
that the third championship game will be the charm for the Eagles. :-) I like to think that we just made the plays at the right time (kudos to McNabb, Staley - and Mitchell, who finally backed up his mouth,) and that Sherman got outcoached by Reid. And all teams need a little luck sometimes. I'm not sure Carolina will be easier, though - remember that the missed field goals made a difference in the last Eagles/Panthers game.

I can't believe Fredericks on Sports Radio WIP here in Philly called it a boring game up until the ending. Even the first half had the goal line stand.

I think the Eagles will win because Stephen Davis, even if he plays, isn't going to be near 100%. I wish we had westbrook though :-(

28. And That's The Thing
The media played that whole "Brett Favre's courage in the face of his father's death... team of destiny" crap to death like a bad soap opera storyline, when it really should have been about the matchups of the team. But the whole week before the game, you hardly heard the Eagles get mentioned at all, except to point out how the absense of key players would help the Packers be the "team of destiny".

I for one was very glad to see the Eagles win.
