Bought a DVD+R/RW drive for $150. Which was unheard of at the time. 2.4x speed. So what happens 6 frigging months later? Big name brands (and HP) start selling 4x DVD +/- R/RW combo drives for $150! But I won't be buying HP anytime soon. Do a search in GD for "Carly" and look for a comment she said about American jobs...

6. Odd that I was just pricing them
Just now. I definitely want a writeable one. I don't really need one but after I get it it won't take long before I feel lost without it.

7. Actually, my computer is my entire entertainment system :)
In my bedroom that is. I have a 20 inch monitor so it works well as a bedroom sized TV. I have a TV tuner card in the computer, a DVD Burner, surround sound, the works :)
