The new live Frank Zappa release, "Buffalo," is ABSOLUTELY FREAKIN' AWESOME.
And I haven't even finished the first disc yet. :) I've listened to a bit of disc 2 as well, but it's spectacular so far. A 23 1/2 minute "The Torture Never Stops," followed two songs later by an "I'm So Cute" that's amazingly fast (1:38). THIS is what the ZFT needs to be doing more of, releasing entire uncut concerts.

2. Ooooo, gonna hafta check that out!
I still want to get the YCDTOSA discs, as well as The Best Band You've Never Heard In Your Life...his '88 band was un-freaking-believable. Too bad most of the members got all upset at Scott Thunes ('cept Keneally)...I recently discovered Broadway The Hard Way...holy crap that band could play anything and turn on a dime...unreal.

A gigantic genius gone way too soon....dammit...
