Rabbits block highway - ah, springtime

BUDAPEST, Hungary - Five thousand rabbits were blocking a Hungarian highway Monday after the truck that was carrying them crashed.

The animals came free after the truck collided with another vehicle and overturned, police officials said.

The M1 highway — the main road connection between the capitals of Hungary and Austria — was expected to be closed for several hours while authorities tried to gather the loose animals, media reported.

6. The farmer on the next property has guineas

and they get out every morning and meander around the neighborhood (about ten of them.) They are quite comical to watch and do sometimes slow down traffic. Last week they had a confrontation with a neighborhood cat, it was hilarious. The ultimate staredown.
