1. Definitely one of my favorite shows! I am fascinated with the awe-inspiring power of the ocean |
and I think it's great that these guys repeatedly challenge it. Sig Hansen of the Northwestern and Phil Harris of the Cornelia Marie are our favorites. I like this quote from Harris: "You're not a man until you've pulled out a tooth with a pair of pliers".

3. Captain Phil is going to die out there |
If he doesn't get his BP under control. A man with his SEVERELY high BP needs to STOP SMOKING! If not for himself, he needs to do it for those boys.

6. I seriously thought his heart was going to explode on camera. |
Yes, it is my favorite show. It's the only true "reality" show I can think of, and provides real drama. My wife and I are hopelessly hooked.

7. Yeah, I thought so too |
And what's he do to calm down? Lights a smoke. I've smoked plenty, often to calm down, but my BP isn't near what his is.
I damn near cried (a little more than damn near) when they pulled that guy out of the water and Captain Jonathan hugged him and they were both in tears. Heart wrenching stuff. That sea can take your live in an instant.

That was incredible. And I agree, that guy needs to get to Seattle quick. Wasn't it sad when he was reading that fan letter? Poor guy has problems. Hope he gets straightened out.
