I suppose it could be worse, they say 3-10 years in men.

Just passing through, this morning, with that little bit of trivia.

3. What did you ladies do to deserve such a short MLC?
Guess that's God's way of balancing out that childbirth thing...

4. I wonder what they define as midlife
I think if I live to be 80 I will be at mid-life in a couple years. :hi:

8. I wondered that too...
At about 40, give or take 20 years (both genders). I know that doesn't help much. It really depends on the individual, I think.

6. Well 3-10 years sounds wonderful :(
not

I'd say I've had sporadic bouts with this starting after age 40, but it has been advanced by life's circumstances.

I fear that I will become the stereotypical midlife crisis'er, soon to be driving a convertible.

At any rate, I'm there.

The only "good thing" is that it's a normal thing I guess.

11. I hope not either.
I just don't want to deal with any more major "life transition moments". I'm still recovering from the last one. :D

13. I've never understood "mid life crisis"....
It sounds as though you think you have things together & all is perfect. Then, you realize that's not true.

I've never been that smug.
