2. How can you quote Jaws, Star Wars.....and 2010?
Putting that awful Peter Hyams movie in the same category as those two masterpieces.... *sigh*

3. Not to mention the Blazing Saddles quote...
One of my favorite movies of all time. Clevon Little and Gene Wilder were outstanding!

4. I quoted 2001, not 2010.
It's in the book, and I could have sworn it was in the movie...

6. When do you get feet dry, Hawk?
Although my own personal military experience was as an 11 Bravo some 30 years ago, I grew up as a Navy brat: (Dad was XO of the USS Forrestal (CVA 59), skipper of the USS Calvert (APA 32) and skipper of the USS Oriskany (CVS 34). Get home safe, man.

8. My feet would be permanently dry
sometime in Feb. However, due to my Christmas hospital visit, I may be extended to complete medical care before being discharged.

9. Forrestal? Really?
A friend from long ago was on the Forrestal. During the fire. He was still shuddering to think of it in 1986.
