I'm baaaaaaack! With good news, too!

I am finally back as DemoTex. I had not been banned, as I feared when I lost my password and could not get a new one. Admin was just too busy with server problems and a short-staff situation to process requests for new passwords. Lesson learned? Don't wipe out your cookies and expect to get a new password instantaneously, like under the old system! I will now change my password to something I can remember!

The good news: I have a contract on my house in Dallas. I was planning on putting it back on the market in March through an agent, but this guy contacted me directly. I am leaving North Carolina tomorrow to drive back to Dallas to take care of details and close on the house. He is giving us a lease-back until late April since Mrs. DemoTex still has a lease on an office in Dallas.

I run Spybot, McAfee, and clear all temp files and cookies regularly. Kind of like a daily dose of Metamucil.

and it was New Years Eve.. I spent the night with my "nose pressed against the glass" and no one could let me in :(

10. I will be off DU again for a couple of days as I drive back to Dallas.

I'm leaving early tomorrow. I have the cargo trailer hooked up, the car packed and headed out the driveway, and the house cleaned. All I have to do in the morning is winterize (water off, drain pipes, non-toxic antifreeze, etc.). I'll shoot down to I-85 and catch I-20 in Atlanta. I'll spend tomorrow night in Meridian, Mississippi. If you see a white Subaru Outback pulling a white cargo trailer with a Vietnam Service Ribbon sticker over the back doors (like the yellow, red, and green ribbon to the left), chances are it's me. Honk and wave. Hell, I'm in no hurry, pull off at the next exit and I'll buy the coffee.
