and in St Louis county. If you go south to Jefferson county, you can shoot off all you want. You'll know you're there when you see red and white striped tents selling fireworks every 100 feet.

You might want to check the Illinois forum too because there are a few folks from the Illinois side of the river that hang out here at DU too. If my MIL was feeling better (she's in chemo right now) we might have been down there to see them--in which case I'd for sure arrange a meetup with you. As it is, we are gonna be here at home about 2.5 hours from St Louis.

Bummer. Any chance you are gonna be back this way again?

I live in Belleville IL just across the Black Muddy River. You'll keep me posted as plans come to pass? We've found a place. Morgan Street Brewery at 721 N. 2nd in Laclede's Landing. We'll be there about 1:00. Also, the train runs very close to there so getting there should be not too bad. And we may want to catch Jake's Leg with you too!
