1. It's a sign of greediness in Hollywood
Bratz should never have been made as dolls, much less a movie.

2. I stand absolutely firm on the subject of Bratz.
No Bratz dolls or merchandise in my house. The name alone is reason enough - no need to send the message to my kids that brattiness is a good thing or something to aspire to.

Besides, they are incredibly creepy.

and she gets a bunch ...but she doesn't like them as much...their feet fall off (their shoes/feet are removed to change shoes???/)...so they are going in the yard sale... in August

My daughter prefers her american girl...and she absolutely loves the books...

15. love the American Girl stuff
but it is darn expensive.

My daughter likes to hit the craft fairs, where people make and sell their own clothes for American Girl dolls. We've found some really good stuff!

17. I sew stuff for them..
when I was a young girl my parents didn't have a lot of money so I had two barbie dolls (one was a Marie Osmond...which I liked because I had dark hair)..

I would make all their clothes...it was a very special occasion if my parents bought me barbie clothes and then I would use them to figure out how to make more stuff.

During my next vacation week (coming up..soon)..I am staying home with the kids and I plan on teaching my little girl to sew too.

Granted...she has a lot of AG stuff that relatives have bought for her (their registry list is good for kids who have relatives in different states...they can order what the kid wants instead of guessing..) but I still like to sew stuff for it..

4. How could they find actresses with big enough heads?
I never thought that there would be a doll that would make barbie look good. I just hope the craze dies down by the time I have kids.

Honestly, you need to get your mind out of the gutter.

20. What i want to know is...
Which ratings in my Yahoo Movies account convinced Yahoo that I would like that movie?!

Based on your 76 ratings, we predict:
You'll probably like this movie

21. i saw the preview for it when i went
to see Harry Potter yesterday. i could feel my brain diffusing out my ears via osmosis in the general direction of the movie screen.
*ducks behind Allegro* hide me! or at least get me a copy of Beyond Good and Evil! Maybe that will undo some of the damage... :scared:

22. There are too many children's movies now.
This makes children think the world revolves around them, and the quality of the majority of the movies goes to crap.

When I was a kid, we had to wait three years for Star Wars to come out, and dammit, it was worth the wait.

We have taken the joy of anticipation away from the tykes.
