Computer question

I have Mozilla Thunderbird e-mail. I sent someone an e-mail earlier, asking for a snail mail address. They replied. I read the reply. I just went there to get the address, and the reply has disappeared.

How is that possible? It is not in the trash. I have not emptied the trash. Where in flaming hell did it go? The address is to a small foundation, and I will be embarrassed to ask for it a second time. Anyway, I know it has to be there somewhere.

1. Have a look in the spam/junk folder.

Sometimes things land in your inbox, and then get whisked away to the junk folder if T'Bird's spam detector doesn't like the look of them. On a slower machine or one that's processing quite a few mails at the same time, it can take ten or twenty seconds for the mail to get moved from Inbox to Junk box.

I did find it eventually. I went to "view" and "not junk."

That is the only place the reply appeared. Very odd.

I printed it before it disappeared again.
