What's the best way to punch holes through 161 pages so that they will fit into a three ring binder?

3. A .22 rifle should be able to punch through that
In a few short seconds, you'll have all 161 pages punched through. Alignment of the holes relies heavily on your aim though, so practice on Republicans first.;)

It appears the message board software left out a complete word from my post. That was supposed to read "practice on some republican books first". Yeah, that's it. uh huh.

5. Heat up a quarter-inch steel rod in a smelter
to just under kindling temperature and jam it through the pages.

I have the thing printing up as we speak. Maybe If I align the pages, make the right measurements, I could take it to the the drill press in the garage and make the holes....

8. I don't think the drill press will work
I believe the paper will tear long before it generates enough "bite" for the drill press to cut through it. Either that, or friction will generate enough heat to discolor the paper, or outright catch it on fire. It would have to be an insanely sharp bit for it to work. I say don't risk it.

11. They make a machine that looks something like a
drill press that will do up to a ream at a time. Real print shops should have them.

I have to go into Marinette tomorrow for supplies for first day of classses on Monday. Maybe a stop at the copy center at OfficeMax would do the trick.

15. You could do 10 pages at a time and have had them done by
the time it has taken you to post and respond to this thread. :-)
