Whats your worst phobia?
So I had to go by the hospital today to get some lab work done for a surgery I'm gonna have next Tuesday. It made me realize just how utterly terrified I am of medical tests, procedures and hospitals period :scared: . I'm not necessarily an unhealthy person, except my blood pressure is a lil bit high but it just terrifies the hell outta me!

So lounge lizards, what are some of your worst fears?

1. Water
Can't take having my head under water. Also, spiders literally make me nauseous to see.

67. Same here!
Drowning is fear #1 for me. If I go to the beach/ocean/lake, I wade in to my waist at the deepest and I don't go any further out. I'm fine in swimming pools because those are gentle, solid, and I can just float on my back for hours.

I'm also not fond of huge crowds in closed spaces - i.e., going deep into Rushmore Cave in South Dakota, then coming back up in a group of 30 people - and having to squeeze against a cold rock wall as another group of 30 squeezed past us to go deeper into the cave.

Ugh... That memory still makes me a little uneasy...

I had like zero depression for about a month — until a few days ago, when it started creeping back. I upped my Lexapro dose to 10 mg., so we'll give it a few days and see what happens.

How come I always find jobs I wanna apply for when I'm on the downward part of the cycle? x(

I freak the hell out whenever I see one. I think it partially comes from seeing the Indiana Jones movie when I was a little kid and him being thrown into that pit with snakes all over the floor. I still occasionally have that same nightmare where I can't get out of bed because the floor is carpeted with snakes.

Therefore, I loathe air travel and usually need a few drinks to calm down before a flight.

My preferred mode of air travel can be best summed up as "unconscious".

With a greatly depleted military, Bin Laden still running around, Al Queda is regaining momentum because of our unnecessary presence in Iraq, the middle east is seriously unstable because of our doing, and now, Dickweed is picking a fight with Iran.
