Puppies...GOOD news and (yes) pics

I posted here some time ago about a couple "pit bull" (eek!!1! run away!!!) puppies that we took in here at rescue de flvegan.

Here's a pic of them both at just a few days old (Fern is on the left of the pic, Templeton on the right):



ANYway, they both have new homes, and depart late this week for their wonderful new lives. I wish they could've gone together, but that just wasn't in the cards.

So, because The Lounge is the BEST place for gratuitous puppy pics, here are a couple I took today...

My youngest sister had a pit bull named Tessla for a number of years, and she was one of the sweetest, most loving dogs you could ever meet. When my nephew was born, Tessla fell in love with him. When he got old enough to move around, she would lay on the floor, and let TJ hug her and kiss her and crawl all over her. Pit bulls aren't born bad; they are MADE that way by the assholes who train them to be bad.

These two cuties are obviously going to be like Tessla.

20. Yeah, I'm looking at "adopting" my bad neighbors pit bull....

...so that's the one I have in mind. It's a long story, but I don't like how they are treating her, and they've talked about "getting rid" of her. The dog is sweet as hell to me, and I've made it VERY known to them, that if they want to GET RID of her, then I will more than happy to take her.

The last time they "got rid" of a dog they had, they had an unethical vet put it to sleep. The dog was perfectly fine. I'm just not going to sit idle and let them do it again.
