A sequel to Tron and a remake of Logan's Run. Coming in a year or two to a theater near you.

1. Logan's Run could be very good...
Didn't care all that much for Tron in the first place, though the sequel might be interesting.

2. Battleship Potemkin.
- Un Chien Andalou
- The Maltese Falcon
- Chinatown
- Arrival of a Train at La Ciotat
- Citizen Kane
- Birth of a Nation
- Triumph of the Will
- Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?

I don't want to see any of these remade, for a variety of reasons.

3. Do NOT touch Jaws!

Much like Vertigo and The Godfather, it's perfection. And anyone who tries to "reimagine" it will be seeing the end of my shotgun barrel.

And though this hasn't a chance in hell of happening, I want an animated remake of Return of the Jedi. None of that sentimentalist Luke-redeems-Vader shit; I can't relate to that. If my father choked my momma, killed my favorite instructor, tortured my sister, severed my hand, and assisted Peter Cushing in blowing up a planet, woah boy, I'd be having one whoppin' flirtation with the Dark Side. I dunno, I'm just hankering to see Star Wars go Oedipal in the worst way.

4. I wouldn't mind seeing the entire Star Wars saga remade by...
...someone who knows one end of an actor from the other. Lucas is practically autistic in his inability to direct human emotion.

5. I dig Lucas's approach, but I will say this
I wouldn't mind seeing an adaptation that eschews the Buck Rogers/Flash Gordan flourishes, opting instead to go all-out Wagnerian. Keep the scores, adhere (mostly) to the narrative, but rachet up the intensity. Make little Anakin a traumatized slave, rather than an indentured servant; have Leia fall to her knees and bellow as Alderaan explodes. That kinda stuff.

And really, III and V wouldn't have to be altered much.

6. Godfather 1 and 2
And, let's not even talk about Godfather 3...
