Happy Birthday Vladimir Horowitz!
He would have been 104 today. I had the pleasure of seeing him in concert twice. He got a standing ovation before he started playing.

4. The first classical concert I ever saw was Rubinstein
How's that for setting the standard high? I'll never forget that experience.

This last weekend I spent listening to the Horowitz in Moscow CD over and over I have owned since it first came out. I had no idea this was his birthday. What an amazing talent. RIP.
