I just scored 75 points on one word in Scrabble just now!
I'm playing an online game of scrabble through Facebook with a friend, so this gives me the luxury of time to figure out my word. I was initially kicking myself for not having the letter "a" so I could make the word "quads" in which the "q" would land on a double letter score and the "s" would land on a triple word score...but I did have an "o" so I figured what the hell and put in the word "quods" because the computer doesn't penalize you if it's not a real word and to my amazement it actually *was* a word...a 75 point word! I think this may be my greatest ever Scrabble achievement, my friend is going to be so pissed when she sees this!!!

I did look up quods after I made my move and apparently it means being bound up in a quadrant...so go figure

6. it's totally a word...it's in the scrabble dictionary
I never would have attempted it without the computer because I would fear losing the challenge
