8. I was avoiding Harry Potter for the longest time

Then once the last book came out I bought all seven and read them over the course of the summer. They're not bad. I'm glad I waited until they were all out though, so I wouldn't have to wait around for the new ones to be released.

2. i just checked out the first HP book from the library yesterday

figured i'd see what all the fuss is about.


there's something weird about the sentence structure in my subject line, but i'm not sure what.

10. Just rearrange the words

"I just yesterday checked out the first HP book from the library."

But it only looks a little weird (and I mean a little) written down - in everyday speech nobody would notice it. And even then, in the conversational style of the DU lounge bad grammar is easily forgiven.

12. Saw "Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix" in the theater last Sunday.

Very entertaining movie. The flashbacks to the previous films really show how the kids have grown, physically and emotionally. I'm not the world's biggest Harry Potter fan; I haven't even read all the books yet. But I like the story J.K. Rowling has put together...
