I scheduled my gum lift this afternoon
Two weeks from Thursday....eek...

It is something that I want and need to have done, but now that it is happening, I am terrified. It doesn't help that I am squeamish to the extreme. But hey, my teeth will be gorgeous when all is said and done.

Has anyone else had this done? It will be so wonderful not to feel that I need to cover my gummy smile...I am going to be grinning like a maniac...there are not any pictures of me smiling with my mouth open. I am looking forward to smiling.

They remove gum tissue to expose more of the tooth. it is also known as crown lengthening.

When I had sedation dentistry, I was MESSED up and did not even know it, or remember it.
