the old "nature vs. nurture" argument. Are we to start drowning babies just because we suspect that they might grow up to be obnoxious mall kiosk salespeople? Charles F. Kettering.

While a well known inventor, he was responsible for adding lead to gasoline thus contaminating the earth to a degree unimaginable once. Later, not to be out done by his earlier idea, he invented the use of Freon in cooling systems effectively wiping out huge sections of the ozone layer.

Quite an accomplishment.
