What, if anything, are you doing to try and alleviate your stress? Absolutely NOT be snarky here. Just wondered if you are doing anything to try and lessen your stress level.

7. I'm too effing depressed to do anything.

i feel like my world is spiraling out of control and the only 'pleasure' - if you can call it that is EATING. my hubby is on tube feedings only and i wonder if that has anything to do with it. we no longer (and haven't for years) been able to share a meal together. his son came over for a bit today and i took myself out for a turkey burger and fries and then right back home. sure - i could have gone to the gym but i just can't seem to get myself to do that. i'd rather sit alone in a booth, eat and try to do some reading.
i really HAVE thought of wiring my mouth shut - but then i think - how can i talk when i need to - to his doctors, to HIM.

if i were to do it for weight control - that's assuming i could find someone who would do it for those reasons - how painful is it? what did you do for oral
hygiene?

9. Yep, I had to have jaw surgery a few years back.

I did lose about 15 pounds...so it is pretty effective in that respect.

The aftermath was pretty rough, and pretty painful. I was wired for a month - no talking, no eating solids, etc/. I wouldn't recommend it unless you have to do it.

As for oral hygiene, I believe I used mouth wash.
