Radio Lady's Just A Thought - Do you agree? The DU Lounge should have its own RECOMMEND Listings.

Not sure it should go on the front page, but it could, IMHO.

As I recall, the DU Lounge has more posts than any other forum!

At present, we are able to hit the button to RECOMMEND a post, but we aren't really accruing the votes to place the thread anywhere. I understand this would require someone to moderate offensive material.

We're usually the softer side of the DU Lounge, and human interest items would find a welcoming place here.

Just a thought... Any other ideas?

The DU web splash page is pretty intricate, and I don't understand how columns are developed. Someone with more authority and knowledge would have to seize this idea and run with it.

Or is this the wrong time (Halloween coming, then the rest of the holidays, busy season, end of year, hot political drama on other forums, Presidential year, etc.)?

Maybe January 1, 2008 would be a good launch day.

Really, if I had the time, I could do this on a weekly basis somehow, but a TV station in Portland has asked me to contribute my entertainment reviews for their website and I'm going to take it on. Also, we're out of here on trips in October and December.

Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated, KW or others....
