How weird has your fall weather been?

It's the 5th of October, and I'm running window fans. In upstate New York.

1. Window fans? Shit, I'm running the AC and I'm STILL hot

2. Its fall?

Seriously though, here in SW Ohio it has just been one screwed up year.. We had a really hot dry summer..So dry that some trees are dying..

Im kinda worried about winter.. We seem to only get extreemes and it would be my luck that its a nasty icy/snow filled time..

3. When does deer season open?

I remember one year in Lancaster all the guys had a real problem because it was too warm to hang the carcasses as usual.


You're right about the winters. We get the snow, but I never saw cold like I saw in central Ohio! We had a nthaw one year that filled the back yard with water and then it froze solid overnight into an ice rink.

4. My thermometer registered 87 today.

It's sometimes a little chilly (50s) in the mornings, but regularly gets into the 80s by the afternoon. Now, I'm not a fan of cold weather, so I'm not exactly weeping, but I dare some asshole conservative to tell me that global warming is a lie.

5. it was mid 80's in wisconsin today...due to hit the 90's this weekend

granted, we always have some warm days early in the fall...but never THIS warm

6. pretty normal, actually

nights down into the 40s, days in the mid 70s (well, let's just say normal for the past 10 years or so) and we're due to get snow this weekend

we haven't gotten the rains we sometimes get in the fall, but it's been drier than normal for years

7. As SOON as fall hit, we got fall weather.

Like someone hit a switch.
