6. No, I don't. I really hate Manny Ramirez.
Not quite as much as Derek Jeter, but still.

2. 'First, I want to thank god for the talent that he gave me'
:eyes:

Just once, I'd like to hear an athlete thank Satan.

5. God is un-defeated.
According to George Carlin, at least. "You ever notice how athletes praise god when they win but when they lose, you don't hear a peep?"

13. That might literally be true
The Mass Turnpike is across Lansdowne Street beyond the left field wall. It's not unheard of for a moonshot to clear the Moster and the buildings on Lansdowne and end up on the highway. So, theoretically, Manny's shot could have landed on the back of a truck bound for Dubuque...

9. No kidding, that ball sailed out into the night.
What a nail-biter...I think we scared the dog when Manny hit that one.

14. Joe Castiglione scared Mrs Bluedog
Joe Castiglione is the Sox play by play announcer, and his voice rises about four octaves when the Sox make a big play. When Manny went yard, Castiglione let loose with a frightfully loud, high-pitched yell, causing Mrs. Bluedog to jump up with a look that combined shock, fear, and utter relief that her husband wasn't going to be pissing and moaning for the next two days

10. That was probably the most CRUSHED I've ever seen a homer, with the POSSIBLE exception of the Pujols
airmail special off Brad Lidge, also walkoff, in the NLCS vs. Houston. Never mind that it was the playoffs and it decided the game, those homers were just MURDERED.
