2. Bringing back very pleasant memories of waltizing to Patsy Cline.

As newlyweds, my ex wife & I took a car ferry trip, and the second mate was playing polkas on an accordion. He obliged my request for a change of genre, and we waltzed on the fantail, to the applause of other passengers. Currently, I'm in contact with a couple of my dance partners, hoping that I can somehow work past my nerve-damaged feet and manage to dance again.

3. Back in 1950

Patti Page made that song popular when I was four years old. I heard it on the radio so much that I learned to sing it.

I remember visiting my grandparents one day when my grandfather was in bed because he was sick. He wanted me to sing Tennessee Waltz for him, but I felt too shy. He then offered me fifteen cents to sing it. Being a mercenary little creature, I sang Tennessee Waltz for fifteen cents, thus beginning my (I wish) professional singing career!
