1. Well, when you are the latest Super Bowl winning quarterback....
I felt that way about Montana and Marino (still see him) and Aikman.

As long as the products he endorses make more money, we'll see more of him.

5. Thank you
I thought I was the only one.

The commercials with Reggie Bush (?) were funny -- i.e., the two of them sending various foodstuffs and animals to each other's hotel rooms. The rest of the commercials are freaking annoying.

If they ever put Manning in a dunk tank, I'd spend a lot of money on chances to put him in the water.

Julie
not a Peyton Manning fan, thank you

6. I agree
Maybe I'm remembering incorrectly, but I only remember seeing my Joe Montana in a Schick ad with his future wife - he wasn't in 693,572 ads for everything from soup to nuts!

7. Peyton's got game...
In every respect. I say let the guy take advantage of every opportunity that presents itself to him. We could never doubt his value on Sundays, or what he means to Indy fans.
BTW...Peyton donates the monies he makes from those ads, endorsement deals, etc. to charity.

8. He is one totally self-absorbed life form....
What a freak....
I have a bet with my family that if I can get through the whole
football season without saying ANYTHING about him....I'll
get an all expenses paid reward.

Instead, I'll post  :eyes: here when it gets too bad.

11. St. Vincent in Indianapolis named a Children's Hospital after him

because of all of the money he has donated to it. Not sure where you get the self-absorbed description.

I do understand that not everyone will like every sports player, though. Maybe the next big advertisement will feature your favorite!

10. Peyton is cool - and no worse than any other
big-name athlete that wins his sport's championship.

Of course, I still prefer the old McDonald's commercials with LArry Bird sinking baskets - but I'm ancient and a Bird fan.
