So Red Sox fans...
Do we want the Indians/Yanks series to go the full five games so the Sox' opponent will be tired by the time they face us, or do we want to see the Yanks get trounced out in three just for giggles?

What say you?

2. That's the question du jour at the WIMR household.
I personally don't mind either, though a part of me is screaming for the Yanks to go 3-zip just to laugh in their faces.

3. It depends...
I'd like to see it go the full five, but only if the Indians win. Given a choice between a Cleveland sweep and a Yankee comeback victory, I'll be happy if the series only runs three games, thank you!

6. End it today
First, if they go five, the pundits will say, "The Red Sox are fresh; they've had more rest than Cleveland."

Who wants to listen to lame excuses?

Second, humiliating the Jankees and their supremely arrogant fans should always be a priority. :bounce:

(Did you hear Steinbrenner told the Bergen County Record that if the Jankees don't win this series, Torre's not coming back?)

7. Good point
I don't want the Sox to be downplayed. I won't, however, dance on Torre's potential grave. Of everything I dislike about the Yankees, I don't hold anything against Torre. For some reason he just seems like a classy guy.
