282 days until "The Dark Knight"
First, there was Siddhartha's ordeal with Mara.

Then, there was Jesus' three trials.

Now, I must endure the nine month agony.

Yet transcendence awaits.

1. Yes, but unlike the aforementioned trials, you are not going through them alone.

2. Hold me. Please.
We'll sift through the graphic novels and animated shorts, 'till comes the Reckoning.

17. I saw a teaser on youtube, but it didn't show much
of anything, but had vague dialogue...(not sure if it was the official teaser, or fan made).

5. There is a teaser
My computer is fairly low-end, but YouTube undoubtedly has the teaser available. I myself saw it at the theater, and believe me, Batman's world is set to crumble.

7. Isn't the Scarecrow going to be in this one?
I heard he was, as well as the Riddler ( and there is a rumor that the Riddler is Anthony Michael-Hall , although I don't know if this is true ).

8. Murphy's all but confirmed
If the Joker's going to be using his gas, he'll need Crane to produce it.

The Riddler rumor is just that, but really, he's one of the few villains who'd fit perfectly into Nolan's universe. (I actually think it'd be nifty if the next two Batman films showcased Bond-styled pre-credit sequences: Riddler for II and maybe a toned-down Poison Ivy for III.)

11. I heard the audio commentary is hilarious
Joel Schumacher spouting mea culpas for two hours. No joke.

Still, I can't hate the guy. Had the series not hit rock bottom, we'd never have been given Nolan's treatment. So I guess BF and B&R were good for something.

23. I thought she was the closest thing to a bright spot that movie had.
The only one of the characters that hadn't been (*&%ed up so badly as to be unrecognizable.

Now what Schumacher did to Mr. Freeze and Bane is just unforgivable. A big dumb guy as the brilliant scientist... and an even bigger dumb (literally) guy as the only villain whose ever truly gotten the best of Batman before... no. Just wrong. And for that the man should burn in the fires of hell, fueled by page after page of the comics he ruined the good name of.

13. you're not going to enjoy it if you're counting down.
I find that if there's a movie I'm anticipating and I avoid all trailers, all commercials, all "making of" stuff until I see the whole movie, I enjoy it a lot more.
