Booze+Guns+Right Wing Freaks
No, there's absolutely no potential for trouble here...

What do you get when you combine a group of people often seen open carrying weapons and free flowing booze? Murphy's Taproom, the first free stater owned tavern.

Murphy's Taproom opened this year across from the Verizon Arena in Manchester where Club Omega once stood. Club Omega was known for violence and trouble. In fact it was so bad they actually had a metal detector you had to pass through to enter and they often had police stationed at the entrance to help pat people down before they were allowed to enter. Now as Murphy's the metal detector is gone and in fact the new owner has no problem with patrons openly carrying firearms into the pub while they sit and drink.

(Whole sorry story at link below):

4. In all seriousness...
One of these nuts is going to create a dangerous situation before too long. Most of the characters who hang out at Murphy's are mixed up with Ed and Elaine Brown, the two anti-tax zealots who were arrested last week, and who had a compound filled with explosives, firearms, and bobby traps. At some point one of the Murphy's regulars is going to play cowboy and take the law into his own hands, or they will take an attitude with the police and pull a weapon on a cop. These jokers are entertaining up to a point, but I really worry that this is going to end badly.

Does the banjo music just start playing in your head?

7. Is your point about their politics, or restricting freedom because of potential of harm?
No, there's absolutely no potential for speeding here...

Drinking booze, owning guns, or being a rightwing freek is not illegal.

I put protecting my freedom to be a Democrat ahead of my desire to restrict someone's freedom to be a right wing freek.
