Do you only post in threads started by people you like?

Just curious. Suppose someone you can't stand (but don't have on ignore) posts a thread about a subject that you're very interested in? Do you reply, or do you wait for someone else to reply and then respond to that person? If you don't post in it, do you read the responses?

Carrying grudges around wold only make my back more sore than it already is. Besides, there have been MAY times here at DU when I haved terrific fight with people, and they and I have ended up coming to terms just by making the efort to talk to each other.
